| All the tools have a double behaviour. In the diagram at the bottom, you first pick the zoom tool, then select with it the region to expand. At the end of the operation, the cursor is still in zoom mode. In the diagram at the top, you first select the region of interest, then choose the operation to apply. At the end the zoom tool is not selected. The first advantage of inverting the order of operations is that, if you don't like the selection, you can change it before expanding. The second advantage is that you don't have to unselect the tool once you have used it: iNMR has already taken care of this detail. This double behaviour is common to all the tools. |
