Navigation Commands and Keyboard Shortcuts

These commands let you navigate through spectra, windows, pages, and plots without using the mouse. They complement the mouse operations and provide a faster way to adjust the display and move around your data.

Action Keys
Reorder the Window Contents Spacebar
Amplify and Deamplify the Spectrum by a factor of
2 (Mac) or 1.4 (Windows)
Plus ( + ) and Minus ( - ) keys, respectively
Amplify and De-amplify the Spectrum by a factor of 1.1 control-Plus and control-Minus (Mac only)
Amplify and De-amplify the Spectrum by a factor of 5 Shift-Plus and Shift-Minus
Move in Four Directions Arrow Keys
Move to the Next/Previous Plane of a 3D Spectrum t / r
Zoom In End or underscore (_)
Zoom Out Home or equal (=)
Next/Previous Page Page Up / Page Down
Next/Previous Window 3 / 2
Move to the Next/Previous Inset 7 / 9
Highlight the Active Plot 8
Swap Roles between the Document Window and the Monitor 5
